Application — UX Designer – Design & AI · Information Design One

Hello Information Design One team.

Complex data, clear interfaces.

Since 2019 I've designed and built interfaces – UI/UX plus front-end code (HTML/CSS/JS, Angular, Next.js), today AI-native (Claude, Figma AI). I turn raw data and APIs into tidy, usable interfaces.

01 — Who I am

I love design.
And tools that actually work.

I've always built my own things — little everyday apps and tools for the processes that annoy me. The idea for my restaurant app, for instance, came about while I was working in hospitality myself: I spot a process that's broken and I want to fix it.

What I enjoy most is exactly this mix: analysing processes, finding solutions that work – and that look good doing it. How much the design of a tool you use every single day matters is still badly underestimated.

The window on your PC is like the window to the outside: a beautiful view does far more than a view of the backyard.

02 — What I've built

Three proofs, not promises.

Three projects that show how I turn data and processes into tidy, usable interfaces – designed and built myself.

Pokedex interface: a card grid of Pokémon from the PokéAPI, each card showing the name, a type-coloured background and type badges, plus a search bar.
Front-end & information architecture

Pokedex

I pull over 1,000 nested entries from the PokéAPI and turn them into a tidy interface: type-coloured cards, search and incremental loading. Raw API data becomes something you grasp at a glance – exactly the kind of translation this role is about.

Four screens of the restaurant all-rounder app: login, main menu, staff view and shift plan – built with Next.js and Firebase.
Product design & full-stack

Restaurant all-rounder app

The restaurant app grew out of a real need – I worked in hospitality myself for a while and lived the shift and organisation chaos. So I built a tool with Next.js and Firebase that brings order to the day-to-day: login, shift planning, roles, time tracking. Interface and logic from one hand, testable live.

Join Kanban board: To-do, In Progress, Awaiting feedback and Done columns with task cards, category labels, subtask progress and assignees.
Product UI & front-end

Join – Kanban tool

Join is a Kanban-style project management tool: tasks move through clear columns (To-do → In Progress → Done), and the cards show category, subtask progress, priority and assignees. I built the interface and the logic myself – a tidy board, clear statuses, everything controllable at a glance.

04 — Why Information Design One, why me

Why I'm a fit for Information Design One.

Design and function

Beautiful or usable? For me it's not either/or. Tools you work with every day deserve both – clarity that makes the work easier.

Solving processes

I see a workflow that's broken and I build the solution: analyse, design, implement – until it really holds up in daily use, not just on paper.

End-to-end & AI-native

From concept through Figma to front-end code, I do much of it myself. AI (Claude, Figma AI) speeds me up every day.

05 — What I work with

One mind. Many tools.

AI, code, design, UX and motion aren't separate departments for me – they're one shared toolbox.
